How this calculator works

Revenue = item price + shipping charged. Estimated fees = fee base × (final-value rate + promotion rate) + fixed per-order fee. Profit = revenue − fees − product cost − postage paid − packing − other costs.

Worked example

A $40 item plus $5 shipping charged produces $45 revenue. Using a $45 fee base, 13% selling fee, 2% promotion and $0.40 fixed fee gives $7.15 in estimated fees. With $20 product, $6 postage and $1 packing, estimated profit is $10.85.

Assumptions and limitations

This is not an official fee quote. eBay fee bases and percentages depend on country, category, taxes, shipping and seller terms. Enter the correct fee base and rates from your seller account. Do not assume the example rates are current for your listing.
