What this tool checks
We parse the file locally and check common Google product-data fields: id, title, price, availability, link and image_link. We verify price syntax, URLs and unique product IDs. Not all attributes apply uniformly across countries or categories.
Worked example
A product row missing image_link, with price “19” instead of “19.00 USD”, is flagged with two feed errors. CSV quoted commas and multiline quoted descriptions are supported.
Assumptions and limitations
This is not a Merchant Center account audit. It does not retrieve product pages, validate policy exceptions or confirm approval. Limited to 2.5 MB and 5,000 products per file. XML input expects RSS item or Atom entry elements.
